Provision a server

Bare metal provisioning is sales-assisted. The portal shows the hardware catalog; you then contact the IBEE sales team, who confirm the configuration, pricing, and provisioning with you. There’s no self-service configurator or deploy button for bare metal in the portal.

Before you begin

  • A verified IBEE Solutions organization with billing set up (Add billing).
  • An idea of your requirements — see the checklist below.

Request a server

1

1. Review the hardware catalog

In the portal sidebar, open Infrastructure → Bare Metal Servers. The table lists each Dell model with its maximum RAM, Storage, and supported RAID levels. See Bare Metal Servers for the full list.

2

2. Talk to sales

Click talk to sales in the banner above the table (Customization available, click here to talk to sales). The IBEE contact page opens in a new browser tab.

3

3. Send your requirements

Tell the sales team what you need. Include:

ItemExamples
LocationAmaravati (VGA1) or Hyderabad (HYD2), India. Amsterdam (AMS1), under the Europe region, is coming soon.
HardwareA catalog model, or custom CPU, RAM, storage, and RAID requirements.
Operating systemThe OS and version you want installed. Some, such as Windows, carry a licence fee.
NetworkPort speed and bandwidth needs.
HostnameFor example my-baremetal-01.

4. Confirm and provision

The sales team confirms the configuration and monthly price (INR, plus 18% GST) and arranges provisioning with you.

Bare metal servers are provisioned by the IBEE team rather than instantly. For instant self-service compute, use Cloud VMs or GPU VMs.

Troubleshooting

I can’t find a Deploy button on the Bare Metal Servers page That’s expected — ordering goes through sales. Click talk to sales.

The configuration I need isn’t in the catalog The catalog shows standard ranges. Custom hardware is available on request — click talk to sales and describe what you need.
