Account Security

Your login is personal: it is the same across every organization you own or belong to. Two-factor authentication (2FA), your password, and your login history are managed from your user profile, not from an organization’s settings.

Open your security settings

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the portal.
  2. Click View Profile.

The User Settings page opens. The Security section contains Two-Factor Authentication, Password, and Login History.

Two-factor authentication

With 2FA turned on, every login needs your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. 2FA is off until you turn it on.

Turn on 2FA

1

Install an authenticator app

Install an authenticator app on your phone — for example Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.

2

Start setup

In Security → Two-Factor Authentication, click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

3

Confirm your password

Enter your current password under Enter Your Password to Continue and click Continue.

4

Scan the QR code

Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code. If you can’t scan it, copy the setup key shown under Can’t scan? Enter this key manually into the app.

Save the QR code or setup key somewhere secure. You need it to set up the authenticator again if you lose access to your app.

5

Enter a code

Type the current 6-digit code from the app into Enter the 6-digit Code from Your App and click Enable 2FA. The code changes every 30 seconds.

The status badge changes to Enabled.

Log in with 2FA

After you enter your email and password on the login page, the portal shows Two-Factor Authentication and asks for your 2FA Code. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app and click Verify & Log in.

Turn off 2FA

  1. In Security → Two-Factor Authentication, click Disable 2FA.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Confirm with Disable 2FA.

After 2FA is off, you only need your password to log in.

Change your password

  1. In Security → Password, click Change Password.
  2. Enter your Current Password.
  3. Enter a New Password. It must meet the same rules as when you signed up: 12–20 characters with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
  4. Click Update Password.

Login history

Security → Login History lists your recent login attempts:

ColumnDescription
Date & TimeWhen the login was attempted
IP AddressThe IP address the attempt came from
StatusSuccessful or Failed

If you see a login you don’t recognize, change your password right away and turn on 2FA.

Reset a forgotten password

2

Set a new password

Open the link from the email. On Set Your Password, enter a new Password, confirm it in Confirm Password, and click Set Password. The password rules are the same as at sign-up.

3

The portal returns you to the login page. Log in with your new password.

If the reset link has expired, the page shows Request a new reset link. Click it to start again.
