# Purge CDN cache

POST https://api.ibee.co.in/v1/cdn/distributions/{distribution_id}/purge
Content-Type: application/json

Purges matching cache content synchronously for a distribution in the
selected workspace. For a normal single-page application deployment,
use `mode: url` with `paths: ["/index.html"]`. Do not purge
fingerprinted assets such as `/assets/app.a91c3.js`; use `paths:
["/*"]` only for an emergency full-cache invalidation.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — IBEE platform API token. Production tokens start with `ibee_prod_key_`; development tokens start with `ibee_dev_key_`. Use a token only with its matching gateway environment.

### Path parameters

- `distribution_id` (string, required) — CDN distribution ID.

### Query parameters

- `workspace_id` (string, required) — The positive numeric workspace ID to scope this request to. Zero, negative, and non-numeric values are rejected.

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a PurgeCdnCacheRequest.

- `mode` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `url`, `hostname`, `tag`, `prefix`, `all`
- `paths` (list of string, optional)
- `hostnames` (list of string, optional)
- `tags` (list of string, optional)
- `prefixes` (list of string, optional)

## Response

### 200

Cache purge completed.

- `success` (boolean, required)
- `mode` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `url`, `hostname`, `tag`, `prefix`, `all`
- `purged` (list of string, optional, nullable)
- `message` (string, optional, nullable)

## Errors

### 400 Bad Request Error

The request is invalid.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

The API token is missing or invalid.

### 403 Forbidden Error

The token is not allowed to access the workspace or does not have the required scope.
